Hi everyone, it’s been a while since I last posted. I recently lost my beloved Gaia and the house has been unbearably quiet without her. Today I visited a lovely breeder and came home with a baby aged 8.5 weeks. I was going to post in the gender section but it will not allow me to upload photos either on my desktop or iPad. Does anyone know if there are gremlins in the works today or am I doing something wrong. I have tried both options to alter the size for message boards and do not resize my image, but still the photos will not upload and I get a code stating ‘ server responded with 0 code’. Then ‘no images could be uploaded’. Any advice on how to get some photos up would be lovely as I’d love to name this little one.

I just tried to upload and it seems there is some kind of problem at the moment.
I hope it will resolve soon.
If you're able to use an external file uploading website such as imgur or one of the others then you can paste the link,

Thank you, Marianne. I’m glad it isn’t just me being useless. I will try using imgur, thank you for the advice and for moving the thread to the appropriate board.

I wanted to post some photos of my budgie via photobucket. But it's all changed since i last post photos about 4 years ago. It looks like you need to pay a monthly fee. As i don't post photos very often i don't want to pay. Is there any websites that offer posting of photos for free?

When I do this it takes me to the postimages website, not to my photo library?

Yes, it does. Just click the blue box that says "choose image" and that should take you to your computer where you have the pictures stored.

Ah, I understand TPM. But the photo is still uploaded to a third party site to be posted to the forum. I thought I was missing something where it actually went directly from my photo library to the forum post without using the third party at all. But I suppose the forum would then have some rights to the photos and would have to work out all that legalese.

Hmmm, strange. On my computer it does go to the Postimage site and then to here but its instantaneous. I hadn't thought about what rights Postimage might have or if the images were even stored there. I had tried copying picures directly to this forum but it didn't work.
