Keep warm, budgies use a lot of energy to keep themselves warm so a poorly bird will struggle and won't have the reserves. Let your budgie get rest, plenty of it: does your budgie sleep in a room where they can sleep without being disturb. If so let them sleep earlier. I always give millet when poorly as its easy for them to eat.

clt80 is on the money - a heat lamp or heating pad will help greatly, even a heated room is not really warm enough for a sick bird as their core body temp runs around the 40 oC mark. Keep him quiet and calm.

Cover his cage on three sides and top, to help keep some warmth in, a heat pad or a hot water bottle under the base of the cage may help keep him warm too. As already advised, keep him calm and warm. Hope he gets better soon. Do let us know how you both get on doris72.
