I'd like to make, or have made, a small transport/hospital cage.
How would be the best way to go about it?!
Any help gratefully received!

my cousin has this idea in his head just now but he wants a carrybox with a lid so he can fit 2 show cages in so he only needs to carry the one box

A hospital cage and a transport cage are two different things.
A hospital cage should be covered from 3 sides and must have something to keep it warm i.e. light or heat and some meter to watch and maintain the temperature.
Whereas a transport cage is a normal cage but without any perches and food pots to avoid any injury during travel.

I know BB. But I can use it for both. I just want a small cage that is easy to move from room to room or take on transport.

I use these ones from the pet shop to home. I remove the perches and food pots and place newspaper on the bottom grate.

Those ones look good BB. I just need to find somewhere that sells them! Every time I buy budgies, the pet shop owner gives me one free to carry the budgies home. I have 5 or 6 now but unfortunately I am really far

I have a fantastic one that I got from Stafford last year and it was only £5! Not sure who the seller was though but I will find a photo for you

I had thought about those ones Sue but they don't look very secure to me.
