Good luck to Coco tomorrow!!!!! Hopefully those lessons in Kakariki will be enough to Negotiate Peaceful Space; suggest you enquire about bathing facilities and protocols, I am sure Chokobo would love to oblige ......

I have the feeling sometimes that tomorrow will be a big anti-climax, that the Flock won't come up to visit and it'll be just another normal quarantine day. It could happen that way!

Hope things go well tomorrow, it will be very interesting to see how it all pans out I think its a good idea letting the budgies come up to Coco, could cause a bit of a panic situation the other way round, i know my lot panicked when i introduced the little finches and the finches were caged, it took a while but with alternating who was out and who was in they all came round in the end

Funny how Coco gets down off her perch backwards. I have not seen that before!

Some interesting videos today Loric trying to feed Eva, Isabeau trying to stop Loric 1drv.ms/v/s!AnyoyWilEZ_Xh_syJP6NNcqGJ6fWmw?e=fOp521Isabeau trashing a cuttlebone. Hector then tried to get involved. Odd as he normally avoids hens! 1drv.ms/v/s!AnyoyWilEZ_Xh_s1Gg7lPS_zRZIPAg?e=mClsKC1drv.ms/v/s!AnyoyWilEZ_Xh_szvtIEmGIx78xTAw?e=q5EWzUA fascinating home invasion caught on camera. Eva, joined by Loric. 1drv.ms/v/s!AnyoyWilEZ_Xh_s0ji8q-04ApijUpg?e=ZAhwPRI stopped filming early as I thought that the situation was going to develop. Sure enough, there was a confrontation between Coco and Eva - Eva was thinking perhaps that this is her moment to assert dominance. I ended the encounter before there was physical contact and before attitudes could harden. I've done this with all my hens, I don't let "nature take its course" where this sort of thing is concerned. I prefer to break habits of confrontation before they start. My thinking is that Eva is looking for a nest site and she doesn't realise yet that Coco's cage is unsuitable. Perhaps if Eva explores it while Coco is out and about, she'll lose interest in it.
