Maybe he was calling time, like they do in a pub I think he just likes to be last out. What time do they go to bed? ππ I laughed out loud at that ffiscool.

Iris had already gone in for the night, she sleeps in with the boys and if I don't shut the doors, Daisy sneaks in and I have a right old time getting her to leave. Max sometimes takes himself off to bed, but more often than not I have to encourage trick him in. The girls look very peaceful and content. No Iris? Max loves his evening play doesnβt he? Does he take himself off to bed or do you have to encourage him?

They go to bed quite late as it takes me 1.5 to 2 hours to sort out their 3 cages and all the various playgrounds and spots I have to clean. Last night they were covered at 9.45 but I didn't uncover them until 8.45am anyway (that's not the norm, I was just really tired) Maybe he was calling time, like they do in a pub I think he just likes to be last out. What time do they go to bed?

I have no idea how good I've got it, have I?
My feathered flock all take themselves to bed as soon as it starts getting dark. Which aviary they use and who is in there with whom is random or determined by the nature of the day's squabbles but I let them manage that almost exclusively.
The only flock member who requires "persuasion" back into his apartment has fur (Brown Jenkin). He can be a *very* naughty tinker.

What time do they go to bed? Max sometimes went in by himself or if I saw him flagging, Iβd sit next to his cage and say bedtime and heβd go in. A few times it took a while. He had similar times, depending on when I had to be up the next day.

Daisy and Iris have been spending too much time behind the curtains, so drastic measure were called for.

Definitely a curtains day then. My flock were all in amongst them earlier. It looked like Chocobo was trying to pull them down for some reason. I need a plan.

I thought your shelf was a good plan. I just don't have room above my curtains for a shelf. Definitely a curtains day then. My flock were all in amongst them earlier. It looked like Chocobo was trying to pull them down for some reason. I need a plan.

The shelf worked well with the budgies but then the chocobo worked out how to circumvent it. Which means the budgies have worked it out, too. Parrots are so imititative. And rascaly.

Hmmmm, Marianne Marlow. Daisy and Iris hiding behind the curtains? Isn't that where you found an egg last year?

Basil today!
George and Iris (Iris eyeballing me as usual)
Peter and George (Iris in background)
Bertie, Chipper, Billy - bit blurry sorry
Penny and Lyra (Bertie climbing about)
Chipper just before bed. He lurks here and waits for me to put the seed pots here so he can grab some.
Max "No, it's not bedtime, give me 5 more minutes"
