This Friday the webinar is about liver disease. It is being presented by the same vet who gave gave the talk about Borna virus that was the link sent to ladybird. People from all over the world tune in. They use Zoom as the platform which is free to install. Even if you can't attend, if you sign up they'll send the link to YouTube to watch it later. I'll also post the link here. It will be this Friday at 12 noon US PT (Los Angeles time) which Google says is 8pm in London. Thank you TPM. Would you be able to post the bornavirus one on this thread as well? I’m not totally sure how the registration works, does that mean only those registered get to view it, even on YouTube? Do they send you a link, are you only able to see those you have registered for?

Anyone can view it on YouTube. Those registered will get the link. If you view it "live" you have a chance to ask questions.
Yes, I will post the link here and also the link to the borna virus webinar.

I just watched most of the liver disease webinar (I had a phone call in the middle so missed a bit) and it was good. There were lots of questions but not enough time to answer them all. I will have to catch up with the bit that I missed when the video is available.
Next weeks webinar is 2 hours on Borna virus.

It was interesting, criswell. She said the liver is responsible for clearing out toxins as well as bacterial & fungi. Makes me wonder if our budgies who come down with infections is due in part to the liver not functioning optimally? There were so many questions that they will most likely make a Part 2 presentation. I'll post the link here when they send it out.

Thank you again, TPM. Yes, the liver is one of the most important organs, filtering out much of the horrible stuff that we eat and drink; it stands to reason that our little budgies’ livers do work terribly hard even when we try our best to feed them a good diet.
Thank you again for the link. I’m halfway through the Bornavirus video, and looking forward to watching this new one as well.

I’m going to have to play catch-up as these look so interesting. I’ve not had very good vision for the past couple of weeks due to copious amounts of stress (having a new kitchen fitted) and having bradycardia due to the heat and stress. It’s left me constantly lightheaded and focusing on a screen has been ruled out. Once I feel better I will definitely enjoy watching and to echo others, thank you so much for sharing the link.

Sorry you've been having troubles with your health ariella but glad you're well enough to pop on and leave comments. The news here today is talking about a severe heat wave hitting most of the UK on Mon and Tues. Hope no one suffers much from it and manages to ride it out.
