Brilliant for budgies, especially with extension! Whistle (now with Loz) never interested in baths, be interesting if he can be torn away from Isabeau to see what he thinks .... For cats??? They are indeed cat drinking fountains. And no sign of Whistle taking a bath yet - Isabeau has him far too busy with little jobs she wants doing.

That one also looks nice. I spoke with a man on youtube and he told me you can get a piece of a tube from a fish tank pump system and then use the hair dryer to make it melt on the flower fountain part. This way you get a more clean setup and dont need to change tape when it gets wet So just find a piece of plastic tube that fits. The fauntain on the one i bought is a bit higher and fits perfect for a small budgie. I dont know if english budgies can fit under there..they prolly can Here is babybird taking a littel bath. She was also in bath last day in a bowl of water. So it wasent a big bath today.

The bath looks great.
Be very careful of the plants though, they can be toxic to birds.

Looks great Budgiefeets. Just wanted to say you don’t need to change the electrical tape when it gets wet, that would get v annoying v quickly! I’ve had the same bit on for a good few months now. It will need redoing at some point but it looks & works just as it did when attached. It’s kind of plastic-y so must be waterproof. Attaching a piece of tubing would likely work well / better longterm but if you can’t get anything suitable the tape is an adequate substitute!

Is babybird still enjoying her bath? Perhaps she can teach my lot to bathe, most of them are not keen

Is babybird still enjoying her bath? Perhaps she can teach my lot to bathe, most of them are not keen Yes but she will rather bath at the kitchen sink since she likes to roll around and spread her wings. It looks strange She has more room to be a acrobat at the kitchen sink. So im donating the "budgie bath" to my brother that has a cat. Then it can be used for what it actualy is
I hold my hand under the water and splash with my fingers, then babybird thinks im also having a bath. Have you tryed that while they are on ur hand ?
Or make ur hand wet and spray some water on ther body.
Piphans hated the water and she just had 3 bath while we had her for 2-3 years.
When i was a teenager then we had a green and blue male budgie in the same cage and the blue budgie loved to bath and the green budgie hated it cuz then he also got wet from the splashing water in the tub

I’ve been using one like this for years now and they love it , especially with the flower and how the water flows down like a shower, it’s a great choice the best in my opinion

I know what you mean. When they DO actually bath, my budgies can make quite a mess. Babybird just needs more space to bath The whole kitchen is a ocean after her bath :s
