Eye-wateringly expensive. Plus I could order, they'll take the money and then tell me that it'll be a month before the order is fulfilled. Not a good risk.

What a pain. I hope the birds are not missing them too much. I think they are missing them and I think it's the reason they are getting so crazy during seed rollout time

They are fairly similar Marianne Marlow , and might be an acceptable stop gap. When we had Ira 's budgies staying with us she brought some avicakes with them and they were very popular. If loz breaks off nutriberry sized pieces it might work as a substitute. It's not as solid as nutriberries though.

You have to be careful with Lafebers stuff, as far as I can tell. For instance, the cockatiel Nutriberry contents list is fine but the contents of other varieties of Nutriberry, for different kinds of parrots, cause me great concern. I've no idea what is in Avicakes!

loz Avicakes are stuck together seeds and pellets. Unlike the nutriberries, the seeds aren't coated, all the added nutrients are in the pellet. My lot never ate the pellet part though. Or at least not as far as I can tell.

Northern Parrots usually has it on the listing, I think? I don't have any in the house at the moment. What I do have is mushrooms, and I can tell you that the budgies don't think that those are a good replacement for nutriberries at all!
