If your in Essex your welcome to have one from the nest clutch lol. She is lovely her mum was similar but she was opaline and recently died through being egg bound she was in the aviary. This was gonna be her last year breeding but at least I got her daughter back I guess Story is I sold this girl last year to someone and they recently asked for me to take her back as well as her partner

It is always very saddening to loose a hen due to egg binding.

Here's an update: pair 1 there chicks are out the nest most of the time but they tend to run in the nest box as soon as I approach copying daddy. But other times they try to get aeway from my fingers in the cage yet land on my hand lol.
Pair 2 has an early chick. Chick 1 hatched yesterday and chick 2 today when the first chick was due today lol
Pair 3 progress she's spending time in the nest box

Yeah I'm so glad all is going well it's the first timers I'd have to keep an eye on I think. I'm keeping one of those babies was originally chick one but now I'm having chick 5 as its grey and cinnamon though honestly wish I stuck with chick one I love his colours. But her new owner is waiting here's hoping I will have a like her the next round. A couple of them are badly marked Pieds
