Well, I have already introduced myself on the introductions page however you can never introduce yourself enough on these things
I have two rambunctious budgies, Picasso green male whom I've had for just about a year now and his buddy Prada blue sex unknown, since she (I think?) is maybe 4-5 months old and I have only had her for the past 2 months.
Picasso is VERY crazy, I love his bold personality, he's got attitude and spunk. He will sometimes comply with going on my finger (more often than not) but he loves his tricks on his toys.
Prada on the other hand (I had to pick a unisex name) is quite shy despite the fact that she was "handfed". She will under almost no circumstance allow herself to be held or to step up, but I figure in time she will lean as Picasso did.
Here is a shot of them both after I first got Prada a few months ago
This forum has ALREADY helped me since registering early today. I joined since I was concerned about their seedjunkie behaviours (yes, they are getting supplements as well). I have already made them a skewer of veggies, I didn't really have any fresh veggies in the fridge to just layered it with some baby bak choy as a starter for today. You can sort of see it in the picture they are both by it, it is silver with a bell on the end of it.
I have ALSO already made one of those cloud paper toys, I am usually quite creative when it comes to toy making having a rabbit and a ferret in the home but I never had thought of this one. I hung it in their cage not too long ago but I think they're going to love it! Heres an overall cage shot
Basically their cage stays open for majority of the day and they have artificial light on a timer for 8-10 hours (I have lowered it to calm their sexual instincts, it used to be on for 12 hours) and then they get covered by a bedsheet at night time once the light goes off. The top of their cage has been taken off and replaced with chicken wire so they have plenty of ventilation
