hi Nigel, I'm looking to buy a young cock. Do you have any chicks there which will be ready to go in the next two weeks or so? I am new to Budgie keeping and this would be my first bird. 2 weeks and there should be a few cinamon violet chicks just ready to go let me know and I will hand tame them you pick which one you would then want all helps with the seed bill and you never know u may get hooked

Thanks Nigel, Do you have any good violet hens? I am keen on breeding budgies eventually - on a small scale! (I can imagine how that worked out for you with all those babies being born!) ;D I would like to breed just violets or greys I think - all the dark factors These are my young males Sparky and Speedy - who I would like to put a hen in with:

I seem to breed a few violets but never hens always cocks but the sister of these birds will carry the violet gene Donna your nest boxes are here for u and yes I have managed to breed Lutinos after buying in a new line that goes back to the Queen of Lutinos Marjory Kirby Mason....

Just sorted out some 2012 pairs to go if anyones interested 3 generation histories to go with every bird No silly money "Its a Hobby " for me I have kept back way too many spares time to be realistic and thin out me thinks

theres 10 pairs approx here to go all unused ideal brood stock bred mainly out of Barries birds crossed with Sweeting various colours and no silly prices they need to go to make room for the youngsters...
