hello to everyone a new forum and for me a new build project ,the big one.this will be state of the art and will be 100% built by myself from the first drop of concrete to the last breeding cage door.i hope it will inspire newbies and oldies alike, dont know where to start as most of you know i have built a couple of sheds up to now 4 in just over a year,i have been planning this one since i built the first one below is a rundown of what i intend doing 1.the building will be 9metres long 3.3metres wide(29.75sqm thus avoiding planning permission) and built from a2 skin concrete block outer and thermalite insulating blocks inner, insulation and soundproofing to current building regulations 2. roof will be of pent design approx 3metres at the highest point(again to avoid planning permission) and 2.9metres at the lowest ,roof will incorperate 3 skylights for natural light to flood the bird room and be of modern fibreglass construction 3.fully double glazed windows and doors throughout 4.solar powered electricity and storage heating 5.hot and cold running water 6.budgies
