I like this bird alot!! He is bred from a Normal Green Cock x Cinn Green Hen (this years outcross)
Now i know the cock isnt carrying any reccessive pied gene so the hen must have it in her genes because the breeder i go to breeds mainly reccessive pieds these days. To get a recessive pied chick both parents must carry the gene. The gene could have been in the cock's family for many generations and not shown up until now Your web-site is looking good Hi Nev, the cock is the son of an outcross i bought last year from the same breeder as i bought the cinn green hen this year so there is a huge chance both birds are split for reccessive pied, i had 2 very nice rec pieds from this pair aswell as 4 cinn greens. the cinn greens are a little small though compared to the pieds.

YF Blue, A grey wing i think?
The father of this cock is last years outcross a normal light green cock 08 the mother is a YF opaline Blue. A nice bird this nice size to him, i like the colour his nest mate the mother killed.

Cinn Opaline Green Hen.
Beautiful bird this, she is a sister the the grey green and the normal grey. This hen was fostered to another nest where the cock plucked the chicks as you can see.

Olive GREEN Spangle,
This bird is a cracker i love the olive green colour on this bird its infact a tad bit darker than an olive i believe! Bred from a olive green opaline cock and a lutino hen, the father is a son of the voilet opaline hen so that makes him a half brother to the albinos above, the the albino is a auntie to this spangle.
