SEVEN EGGS! Will she ever stop laying them?? Don't know how she is going to cope if they all hatch! Eggs one, two, three, and four are all fertile, five I am unsure and six & seven it is too early to tell.

That's one more than any budgie pair can handle easily, if all hatch. What is their diet?

That's one more than any budgie pair can handle easily, if all hatch. What is their diet? The are on a good seed mix, can't remember the contents off the top of my head. They also have a cuttlefish, iodine block, calcium in their water, and veggies a few times a week, such as carrot, cucumber, celery, sweetcorn, spinach...probably more but my mind has gone blank

No wonder they are laying good number of eggs Lol ;D Is there anything I can do to stop her laying? I know reducing daylight hours stops a hen from laying but thats not really possible in the aviary and I don't want to upset her and make her desert the eggs she has.

And here are the seven lovely eggs. I am really hoping that she doesn't lay another egg tomorrow.

I am afraid nothing much you can do about it. Fostering the eggs is an option but then again the other pair is the same

if it was me id foster the eggs out......... or if i couldnt do that ....simply keep taking the last three eggs..... and just chuck them away.... before they show signes of being fertile ...you no which ones they are as you have marked them .....just take the away one at a time .... dont worry budgies cant count... . but having said that..... (dont take all 3 together ).....as she might notice that... .
