I hope he is getting better. I've been researching the tail bobbing ect and it also brings up air sac mites?? Do you think this is a possibility. The only visible things he has wrong with him are the moulting (a lot of pin feathers comin through) and the bobbing. Droppings are fine and eating fine. He is not chirrping at all though now but i have put that down to him missing the aviary life and his friends

I couldn't see his tail bobbing at all, but then I really was looking at his chest! Maybe a side on photo of his chest serz, I really couldn't see clearly.
We are not Vets, Avian or otherwise. If you have any serious doubts about your budgies' health an appointment with an Avian vet should always be your first point of call.
