Not a lot of info there, Sue. Young? Old? New? Aviary? Indoor? Other birds? How long has his vent been clogged, feathers ruffled, sleeping? Did they all occur at the same time? Has his position/circumstances changed? Give us something to work with. If you suspect mites, then a dose of ivermectin will treat that and not harm the bird if that isn't the problem. If he isn't your olny bird I would suggest you dose the others too. Can you isolate him and keep him warm?

Hi
Budgie is this years bird i bought him last week and he was like it then and the place where i got him from are really interested that he's poorly..he's currently in my outside aviary but I could bring him in for a while..he does fly about but then just sits all fluffed up and with his eyes shut and does this for long periods of time..I have seen him eating and drinking but he's just not as lively as the others..

For a start, you can separate him from others until you find out the problem.

For a start, you can separate him from others until you find out the problem. Definitely! Also I have to ask if he was quarantined before being put in the aviary to join the others. If you have made contact with the breeders, I would encourage you to keep it up and give them regular updates, and see if they have any answers for you. If he is poorly he definitely needs to be inside with extra heat, maybe a lamp for extra warmth, a hospital cage to contain him with 3 sides covered. Helps keep in the warmth and gives them less to stress about.
