So I just got this cage!! After saving a bit, and earning some extra cash I bought this cage for my birdies. I have seven at the moment, so I thought it would be plenty roomy. Little did I know that this cage is MASSIVE. It's about 5'9 tall and longer than that, which means that the budgies that I'm picking up over the coming weeks (after quarantine) will have a lovely new home. My problem is, though - I put it together with my partner last night. The middle bit (with removable divider) doesn't attach the two cages. The two cages don't screw into the base with the wheels either. Shall I get some string and tie the two cages together in the middle? I'm worried about putting my birds in there until I've done this, incase they work their way out.

lush cages .... .. dont use string ... they can bite it off .... . use cable ties ... like these ... but if you do use some kind of packers between the cages ... www.cable-ties-worldwide.com/?gclid=CNzqvOGd1bICFVMbtAodm3QAmwthey will be ok for the job.. . but having said that ... if it was me ... i would drill holes in the frames..... put washers or some kind of spacer in between the cages.... and bolt them together .. . and id keep the divider safe.... but not use it... so they have one nice big cage ... ... and you also say ..... The two cages don't screw into the base with the wheels either. well you could remove the plastic trays drill and bolt them together and slide the trays back in .. but i wouldnt ... BUT YOU COULD ...

It's a great cage. An ideal flight cage One can use the bottom space for two breeding cages. The whole setup would be in one place. Very compact and very specious

It's about 5'9 tall and longer than that What is the inside height and width of the both flights in inches?

The website says 165 x 54 x 95cm, so that's 65 (almost) x 21 x 37.5.
I see the website says to use a bracket to fix them together. Hmm.

The brackets should have come with the cage. Any spare parts lying around?? If your partner is like a lot I know, reading the directions would be the last thing on the list.

Haha! There were no brackets, Hezz I'm buying some today though. The instructions were shocking. They were badly translated and basically said 'Now fix all of these parts together' - what about the six different kinds of screws, where do they go?! We figured it out though.

I have 7 guys in one half of the cage now. They seem much happier, but I'm gonna fix it today so they can have the whole flight
