BB - Not as far as I can see. I'll keep a proper eye on her today.
In other news - chick number two hatched, and I think maybe also chick number 3!!

Thanks guys! Mama is still on point and getting in my face when she sees me looking in the box, but I managed to get two terrible pictures. Haha. Two days apart - they've grown dramatically!

All of he eggs were late, but egg five didn't look like it was going to hatch and I think it was the fourth one laid. Took a look just now and there was a tiny hole in it, so I carefully opened it - baby DIS Still, four lovely healthy chicks. Crappy phone picture before cleaning.

Four chicks out of 5 eggs is a very good result. More importantly they are all healthy too

Thanks, BB! I was thinking that it was good, too. Especially as the parents have never had a clutch before (maiden hen). Here's another picture. Biggest chick is getting more feathered every day! I wonder what mutations they will be? I'm thinking the eldest is a pied of some kind. All of the tail feathers are yellow. Birth order -

Well, the chicks are developing! Here are my guesses for mutations so far - Chick 1 - Some kind of green pied, markings just like them mother Chick 2 - Same as chick 1! Chick 3 - I think it's a blue pied! The markings are the same as the first two chicks, but I'm pretty sure the flights are white! Chick 4 - Looks to me to be a blue based normal

Babies are getting real big and real cute! Chick 1 is definitely pretty much the twin to the mother, so far at least. She/he is a little jerk, though! Screeches at me when I go to clean the box. Chick 2 is similar to the older chick, same yellow and green colouring. A little more cautious though. Chick 3 is a blue and white pied. ^_^ Same markings as first chick, but different colour. Chick 4 I am still a bit confused about. Body feathers look blue, but there's a white stripe down the wings :S Time will tell! This cutie still has a black beak, too. Looks like a little pigeon. ^_^ Here's a picture from a few days ago. Baby is hiding under the others!

I think you're right, BB! Apart from the baby, I'll try to get extra pictures of her. Here are some pictures from 2 days ago. They grow so fast!! I love them ever so much. The littlest one I call pigeon, and she's my favourite. ^_^ The white pied baby I love too, I can't wait to see what colour he'll be! Anyone know if there's any way to find out sexes from the colours?
