his or her name ( not sure whether boy or girl, what do you think? ) anyway the name is piggle. my grandson named him after his favourite tv character iggle piggle

welcome juju, you have a cinnamon cobalt pied hen , i think she is a dominant pied, when she becomes a little older the iris ring will lighten if she is dominant, if they don't lighten she is a recessive pied.

I think Barrie maybe right about dominant pied. I had my doubts after seeing the second picture and that's why I asked you the question about her age to find out about the irises. As the irises of a dominant pied budgie will turn light with maturity.

thank you for all your comments, what does dominant pied mean? sorry im new to all this, oh and I bought her from a pet shop that had just opened, I was lucky cause I picked her out on the friday as they were just coming in and the pet shop held her for me as they didnt officially open till the saturday, everyone seemed to want this budgie and another grey one, they had some lovely budgies but these 2 were very popular for some reason
