It's much cleaner. Seems good so far. I need to experiment a little. Fiddle under the bonnet, as they say.

My friend on the greyhound forum who is the admin has been busy setting the forum as near as she could to the older version and has managed to set the wording bigger as its far too small. She has got it looking much better and set things out more or less as they were you can see it here. flappersdream.proboards.com/

YAYYYY! We have the header logo back! I was hoping we would No more coffee for you Sam. So, what's this Visual versus BBCode at the bottom of the create post box? I see it hides all the code.

So, if I change my settings from BBCode to Visual, will I lose any function? It's much cleaner on Visual.

I aint got a Scooby Do what you is saying there Stace, thats way to techy for me I'm afraid?! Tee hee. Haven't heard that phrase before. Guess that's Scooby Doo, as in clue. Another old show I used to watch. If you "quote" me, have a look at the bottom of the reply box. There are two buttons - Visual and BBCode. You can switch from one to the other by clicking them in the reply box. Or you can edit your profile and set it permanently to the one you prefer. "Visual" lets you see the other person's quoted text in a nice tidy block, without out all the bits of confusing code symbols.

Now that I've had a bit of look around the new version, the only thing that bugs me is the ability to quickly see new posts with a prominent button at the top. "New Participated" is good, but it assumes I'm only interested in threads I've participated in, when I may be interested in many other threads even though I haven't contributed to them.
I realise I can scroll down to the bottom, but it's not a very elegant way to navigate to a button I use all the time. I always view through the new threads only, and very rarely through the main board.
Is there a way to add that to the top of the forum somehow?
Other than that, it seems pretty smooth so far.
