To tell you the truth I wasn't sure how many points I wanted to make to start with but as I could choose loads for free I was a bit greedy.

How to PREVIEW your posts in the new forum. (OR, what's that visual/BBCode tab?)
The new forum no longer has the old Preview button. But it has something probably better.
When you hit REPLY or QUOTE, you open up the new fully-featured reply box. (just like the old forum).
Now, look down at the bottom left. There are two new buttons. VISUAL and BBCode.
If you click on VISUAL it will display all the text and photos and quotes as they will actually look - a true visual representation. THIS IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE OLD PREVIEW.
If you click on BBCode it displays text, photos and quotes wrapped in the computer codes (all the weird brackets and complex coding stuff).
EXTRA information
If you like this new VISUAL formatting, you can make this a 'default' by choosing it in your PROFILE SETTINGS.
Whether you make VISUAL or BBCode your own 'default' setting or not, you can still toggle between the two within the reply box.
What this means for you
This new feature means you no longer have to struggle with all the bits of confusing code. You can see people's quotes and pics tidily held within a nice clean box. Just start typing under it. You don't have to worry about making sure you type inside or outside some strange collection of brackets and squiggles, or what strange letter clusters like IMG, or [/i] mean.
Once you are familiar with it, it will become much easier than the old forum formatting.

Me again causing chaos. Using "quotes" is very useful but I wondered what has happened to the "preview" button and the "spell check". Are they still about? Perhaps it's just me who can't find them. Learner, I've added a "PREVIEW" explanation earlier on this thread. Go look a post or two back. On your spell check problem. Which brand of browser do you use? Have you kept it up-to-date? Browsers now come with their own spell check. A reasonably up-to-date browser will perform this spell check on everything you do on the internet. These days, many places, websites and forums do not have their own embedded spell check. They rely on the user's own browser to do that function.

staceReply button sorted! Thanks proboards help again!! Thanks, M. I think that extra navigation tool is probably helpful for some. Now that you've got the REPLY button floating nicely on that scrolling bar, you can get rid of the surplus REPLY button on the blue static bar.

Marianne. Me again.
At some point, we'll need to amend the banner artwork so it fits nicely inside the banner box. Is there any more bleed on the original artwork, or will it need to be redone?

I know it can be hard when things are unfamiliar, but I'm sure you'll get used to it just like before. I remember you saying something similar when we had to change over last time, but it all worked out okay in the end.
