Okay, as long as you are sure........ I spend about half an hour this morning behind my OH while he was mowed the lawn, and I trimmed up the edges ....... just too hot! I gave up, will go out either earlier or later. I think I would like to garden in a cold climate. PS I'm good mates with a chainsaw. Well it doesn't happen very often here but on the odd occasion when it has reached 30 degrees C and just pulling a weed up leaves you exhausted i know its not nice. I know your temps are higher than that and i cant imagine even going outside in it. The hottest ive experienced abroad was 42 degrees C and that just me feel sick and awful and every movement just left you sweating so i can sympathise, not good. Don't ask me why but chainsaws just freak me out, i cant be in the garden if there is one in use. Maybe because a lovely , not, young man took me to the movies when i was a teenager to see 'The Chainsaw Massacre's', nice .
I guess that romance was short-lived! Chainsaws are horrible things, and no, I don't use them! That was just in jest, I definitely leave them to the experts - they can be the ones who lose a leg. My father was very safety conscious and wouldn't let us as children anywhere around them. If he was using one, we had to keep well out of the way.

I remember a case here a few years ago where a man was up a tree using a chainsaw and his wife was stood at the bottom, he slipped and dropped the saw and at severed her head, NOT GOOD and what an awful thing for him to have to live with .

Such a beautiful English garden. All those lovely spring bulbs. Can't really grow those that well here in Oz. I think the humidity kills them.

Your garden looks great but you can keep your snow. By the way, is that a live dog trudging through the snow in bare paws?

Oh, the wild budgie garden is fabulous. What a treat.
Is that a rhododendron? Until recently I had a beautiful big azalea in exactly that beautiful pink colour. Finally succumbed to the 40C heat last summer after many blooming years in a large pot. What sort of vine is the large white flower?

It certainly puts my postage stamp sized garden to shame. That belongs to a stately home. I could never keep up to one that sized. Looks beautiful.

Yes stace a rhododendron which is the only original plant left in the garden and must be around 40 years old if not older. The white one is a Clematis - Miss Bateman
