If it was me I would buy the larger of the 2 cages, the more space the better

I've read wood is difficult to clean and harbours mites. I'd go for Piano 6.

But what about aviary birds that are housed in sheds made of wood ? the cage is coated with non toxic varnish so wouldnt that help prevent mites

If you really want the wood one, it should be fine. They may or may not nibble at it. Depends on your birds. Generally metal cages are easier to clean so considered more hygienic. That's why we're always suggesting people go for a big metal one. But the wood should be okay for a home set up. It's up to you. The wood one in that link seems a good size at 100 wide.
I've never actually seen one so can't say for sure.
I have a lot of timber furniture in my house, and my bird hasn't really chewed any of it. Yet. He's a male though. Females do tend to chew more. Your call really.

I gotta say that our preference would have to be the Piano 6: Would recommend it every time

Is the piano 6 blue or grey though .?? I do like it ,but when I saw the wooden one was longer and bigger I fancygetting that as its bigger and different to other cages, my budgies down the shed do nibble a bit but thats only edges of battons so maybe they wouldnt be able to get at the edges on this age as eaisly as it looks well made without anything like that expose to them

A blueish grey, but rest assured it doesn't look drab IMO it looks neutral. But its entirely your choice, if you feel happier with going for the wooden one then go for it! We can only speak from our experience with the one we have, let us know what you decide tho

I have that one, Hagen vision large, it's great and really easy to clean. Loads of room in it.

That cage though is only 75 cm long and smaller than the piano 6 which is 87 and the wood frame is 100cm. I have seen them in pets at home and I am not fussed on them to be honest but thank you for your help and comments , everything is appreciated

I just ordered the piano 6 ..... I really liked the white wood one but it was too wide to fit on top of the sideboard and would have been over hanging too much
