What do you mean?! Your right about lots of things Sarah! What about all your baby budgies? Thats more than one right thing IMO! Oh yeah!!!!!! Very, very, very right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, how do these attach to the main frame? Are they a glue-on type thing? With an adhesive backing? Nah, they have a hole so you can place a screw back into the wood, will show you a pic in a min.....

Brilliant Sam. Well done your OH. The buds will soon get the hang of it. I put new things on the top of my buds cage, (while they are in it) so they can see it sitting there all day not moving or trying to kill them or get in the cage, then I move the new things in different places, and they are not frightened by them. They don't play with them, but they are not scared of them!!! Usually I place a piece of millet in the new 'thing' too which is always an attraction. They eat the millet and then move on!! I sometimes think it may be a good idea to take the buds shopping for their own blooming toys as they don't seem to like my choices!!!! he he

I believe they have a screw hole so they screw directly into- well walls usually!!! You could screw through them into wood I expect without problem...

A good idea there, Sam. They may work better for me than drilling and fitting the dowelling ......... I am having trouble atm coming up with the proper name for the join that I have used. The cage-top gym is getting a bit rickety and I should make them another.

Glad you found it useful Hezz, sometimes the simpler ideas are the best. What is also good is that the dowling measures 16mm and the pipe fixtures are 15mm so the doweling fits in nice as snug and hides the screws too

Well done Sam's OH! That's brilliant! It always amuses me how nervous they are of new things and then suddenly it's the best thing ever! Munchy was like that with his boing. I kept putting on it and he'd peered down as if to say 'Can I get off now?' and be wondering how to get down (I'm sure he forgets that he has wings...) and after a few days he was having a great old time on it! I'm sure you won't be able to get them off of it soon, Sam
