When it comes to your sort out what features do you look for on the birds that decide whether that bird is staying or going?

I think regardless of the variety Owain you need a template if not on paper then in your head of your ideal bird.....................at the moment i am trying to increase shoulder width

put the best youngster you have bred in a cage and grade the rest against him keep the best 20 hens and 10 cocks Yes I know simple but its not I end up having my ex Guru over who sadly has given up with birds but hes dead honest and isnt afraid to tell me behave I started last april back with the birds at the mo we have over 200 on the go I mustv have given away 50 let 20 or so go and still must have 200 here will grow them on to 8 months and then re assess them and keep doing that until I am down to possibly 60 birds
