Just a snippet of Norway pics. The sun could have been more forthcoming during the day, we had plenty at night . It really is the land of the midnight sun, don't half mess your body clock up . Anyway. Stavanger, 18th century wooden houses. Olden, Fjords and Bricksdal Glacier. Eidfjord and waterfalls.

What a beautiful looking place! I bet Dulux would love to get in there with all that white woodwork.

What a beautiful looking place! I bet Dulux would love to get in there with all that white woodwork. It really is lovely, i want to see more and go further up, we just had a taste. Constant work on the painting, and being near the sea the paint work doesn't last long, Dulux would have a field day .

It's so cold and wild looking. Those tiny wooden houses look like fairy tale houses.

It's so cold and wild looking. Those tiny wooden houses look like fairy tale houses. It was surprisingly warm tbh, it looks cold on the pics but the fjords were very sheltered once you were right inside them and we were in t shirts and cardi's. The Glacier is melting at a extraordinary rate because of global warming, it should reach right down to the fjord. Stavanger and Kristiansand were chilly because they were on the coast though.

Dulux would be in paint heaven. It looks very beautiful, Skysmum, albeit very cold! Not sure about your cardi's and tshirts. It was between 12 and 15 degrees C Hezz which is positively balmy for us Brits .

Amazing pics. Those fjords are so beautiful. Looks like a fabulous country. Can imagine the daylight must mess up your time clock. I bet it is rather depressing in winter. I can hardly cope with the lack of light here in the UK in winter, can only imagine what it is like over there.
