Good morning to you Barrie , hows the birds.? Ive brought in a spangle cock that excels in head and mask but has shocking feathers , so i will have to be careful. Im going to run him over a few hens , hes a prolific breeder

Good going Corie How did you recognize the lacewing chick this early, I mean if you ring them at 7 days old? I can tell by looking at the middle two feathers of the tail, but not before that.

The eyes are red not plum Barrie. Thats right isnt it.

Normally the eyes of a newly hatched "Cinnamon" are not black like the eyes of the "Normals". It will have deep plum color. But before the eyes open, this color can be seen through the skin, unlike "Red Eye Variety".
I hope I am right.
