My cockateil had had an eventful month and half, her budgie cage mate escaped, she seemed upset just for a day, she now lives with two new budgies and has seemed happy living with them, apart from 1 scuffle over millet 2 days ago when my male budgie bit her really hard and she squealed. The next night I noticed angel was quieter than usual, (don't know how she quiet anyway unless I took the food pot or she wants attention) then her droppings became yellow and sticky lookin, then today she looked like she been bleeding from down below. Taking a closer look it is all dried up and could have started from higher up where meeko bit her 2 days ago, she is still climbing an sleeping on branches caught her calling out couple of times, she's eatting but bit less than she was, she's.drinkin and still affectionate and.sticking her crest in my face to try get me to preen it. I have put her in her old cage, covered part of it, had drops to put in water suggested from pet shop and just keeping an eye on her, should I move cage to a different room incase budgies get ill, or could it be caused by big life changes, or meeko biting her but could a budgie really cause that much damage to a teil, should I take angel to a vet if bleeding stopped and she acting quite normal, sorry for very long message just didn't wanna miss any possible causes x

Could she have got some kind of infection from the bite perhaps?

If she were mine I'd nip her to the vet.

If she were mine I wouldn't be hanging about either. Get her to a vet.

Just got up to check on her, she don't do much this early so hard to tell if she normal, blood gone, she's been eattin drinking, but convinced she looks bit clumsy walking, found 1 vet close that sees birds so be giving them a ring now, if not I know another 1 quite a distance away that does so hope she can be seen today. Really hoping it just stress or minor injury an not other scary things iv read like egg bound, liver disease, tumor, fingers crossed my baby be fine

All booked for 2 hours time, hope she travels well, hope they don't traumatise her, she only really trusts me, even over other birds, poor baby will not be impressed, taking her cage 4 when we there, don't know wether to put her in small box to travel or would this make her worse?

May not seem rellevent but are you sure it's a she? It looks like a male from you avatar picture. Could rule out egg binding if it is male. Could you post pictures including of the underside of the tail?

That must be a relief for you. It's always good to get them checked now and then.
