What a day that was. There I was just relaxing watching the slave typing away when a strange noise made me jump. I didn't stick around to find out what it was. I found a nice new perch that was well out of reach of humans and I could survey all the room. I must have spent ages on here nice and relaxed when yikes! something startled me again. This place is full of strange noises. Anyway I found a nice spot in the conservatory and hunkered down again. Next thing I know is the sound of some of my own kind coming from the other room, must go and investigate. Where am I gonna land, my cage has moved. I'll try here right in front of the slave where I can keep an eye on him. Whaaat! the cage door is right in front of me, where'd that come from. I'll try and squeeze through this gap between the cage and the side of the shelf, no good too small, try the other side, no good too small. I'm trapped, might as well go back into jail. At least there's food and water in here. Stop, slave, don't put that cover on until I'm fed and watered. I don't think he understood, he's just thoughtful. Well that's it, he must be tired poor fellow, the covers on the lights are out he's gone to bed. Night Night.
Blimey is it time to get up already. What's wrong with this man? It's still dark you know and we were up late. No good he's got his weekend stuff to do. Early up on Saturday to go to the supermarket. I know, I know why this early. Wish I knew why. See what happens through the rest of the day. I have noticed a change in this fellows behaviour. He has had his hands in and out of my cage as usual, but not once have we had this up!, up! with fingers stuff. Maybe he's given up on it. We're still friends though 'cause he still chats to me and things. Hmm! I'll just wait and see if he lets me out again.
A nice easy day today. The cover came off around 06:30 so he let me have a sleep in, Huh! fat chance of that. Why is he always so cheerful first thing in a morning. Ah well he's settled down in front of that computer and had his bacon buttie, I had my seeds. He is still very trusting as the cage doors are wide open. I remember not long ago on day one he was not talking at all, now it's like we had been pals from the day he brought me here. I like it this way, cosy. At least he isn't poking his finger in front of me with the stupid 'up up' command. Maybe when I'm ready I will give him a shock and just jump on him. He! He! that will be fun. That's it for now unless something exciting happens.
Here we go start of another day, off comes the cover. Wow! it's light, the poor fellow must have slept in. That's something that doesn't happen very often. It looks like the cage needs cleaning again, slave. Every-time I have a good shake it's like a snow storm. I can hardly see the poop on the cage bottom for the white fluffy feathers. He's left the doors open again, I wonder if I dare make an escape again. If I sit here at the side of the opening I can think about it.
Hi Joey Murph here - I have had that similar treatment you been gettin' lately of the up up stuff?! And thats seems like the only time the millet gets brought out. What is it with these humans? I keep trying to send telepathic messages to them that I want more millet but they don't listen!
Does it work for you and your slave - and if so what am I doing wrong?
Yours Murph x

Hello Murph, it's just the opposite with me. The slave keeps putting millet in my cage and I don't want it. I'm trying to tell him there's something wrong with it, either that or I have lost my taste for it. Telepathy doesn't seem to work for me. I think he's telepathetic, you have to make allowances.
Sorry but there will be no blog entry tomorrow, Tuesday 1st Oct. The serf is off his regular visit to the hospital. It's only for an injection if needed, mind you it is in the eye. Who was that that fainted? Careful now. At least he gets to see the point of it.
