6 days after hanging nest box's and all 5 hens have been in ,scattered or removed the sawdust and it looks like we should be getting eggs pretty soon. the only thing that bothers me is two of the pairs dont seem very interested in each other (fingers crossed) i will be updating progress reports as there is any news here.. www.o1111budgies.webspace.virginmedia.com/2012%20PAIRS.html . paul

hi nipper give them a bit longer ,i have 1 pair who dont seem to be bothering but the hen is mooching around the nest box regards gerwynmr2

thanks Barrie, i didnt know that as we've not had any cinnamon's. the cock bird's father is split ino so i just presumed. (would love it if it was a cinnamon) paul

And looks looking at the eyes it looks like an ino Good news Paul Eyes color of the newly hatched "Red Eye Variety" will be just like skin and cannot be seen through skin. Whereas the eyes of a newly hatched "Cinnamon" are deep plum color (but not black) and this color can be seen through the skin.
