This brilliant video's just been recommended to me (thanks a lot, Sweetpea!). Do you think it's possible to try to get two grumpy middle-aged boyz to comply, Hezz, or have I missed the boat?!

... just realised there are another 4 pages of comments I haven't read yet! (Would be useful if the page numbers were repeated at the bottom of the pages, as well as along the top ...) Will take a look now to see if my question's already been asked ...

From what you say, seven years old ( ) is probably too old, but I'll give it a go anyhow!

Maybe, maybe not, Rose. They can surprise you. (As you know) But like with all things budgie, it won't happen over night, unfortunately. And I agree with your comment about page numbers showing up at the bottom of the page as well as the top. I have been caught out like that before now.

The page numbers should stay with you, floating at the top of the screen even as you scroll to the bottom of the thread.

I'll take a good look at the video again at the weekend when I've got more time and give it a go. Poor boyz - they won't know what's hit 'em!

Munchy is in the running away phase. Once I get my hand around him he'll step onto my hand and mostly waits for me to let him go. Wasn't too pleased when I tricked him because I'd let him out of the cage and needed to clip his claws. He took his sweet revenge on my fingers for daring to rub his beak and cheek and then getting my hand around him

I'm *still* trying to get Brodie back to where we were in early Jan, he's not willing, but none of them are are they?! We'd almost got to the point where I was properly containing him but now, on a good day my fingers are wrapped round him with maybe one or two fingers touching but I'm definitely not holding him yet! I'm persevering though!

Yes. Could be, rose. Or the version of the browser you have. That's a shame. Could be that updating your browser software might fix it. Not sure. The page numbers should definitely stay floating with you as you scroll up or down. Which browser do you use?

Just tried with Chrome instead of my usual IE and I could see them! Now I've gone back to IE and I can see them here too - I was looking in the wrong place!

Well, I did have a rather pathetic couple of tries at this with the boyz over the weekend: Marshall gave me such a look of horror ( ), and Iany headed straight for the hills (well, the window perches)!

Not surprising, Rose. It is not something any self-respecting budgie wants to happen, but I can say it saves a whole lot of stress when they do need to be examined for anything.

Munchy is currently refusing to de-stress about it, so this morning I've had him stepping up onto the little finger side of my palm instead.
