That's great, BB.
Hey Marianne. Can I just repeat my earlier thoughts. Can the entrants make the headers the same width as the forum, so they run as continuous banner at the top? Rather than having a floating banner with white at the sides as they are now. It might pay to define this in exact millimetre dimensions, so everyone knows the correct size.
If these entries are simply resized to fit across the entire width of the forum, their depth will be huge.

Thanks Stace I think you mean something like this. forums.crosswalk.com/I agree that it will give a nice clean look to the page. And It can be easily done in Photoshop. Whether or not it can be placed in ProBorads is another issue.

Or possibly running the width of the forum's contained "box" template, rather than across the entire screen, if you know what I mean. It's good to have a little depth as well, as it's hard to design a good strong banner if it's only a narrow strip.

Do you see it on any website?

Actually, BB, a banner running the same size as the forum wouldn't work. Now I look at it, the forum has the ability to stretch out wide, rather than staying at one set size.
There is probably some way of doing it so there is a 'bleed' of the background on either side, or one side. But maybe this is too difficult.

I know what you mean. It is possible with a website where you have the option to increase or decrease the size of the header. I think with ProBoard you just have to upload a picture, and there maybe some certain sizes only.

Lets try 900x225 pixels for the logo and see how we get on with that Longer but slightly thinner should fill the screen.
