If you are able to use the teabag as a compress, this can help too. Of course this does depend on how tame Paddy is ....... you don't want to stress him too much. Has his breathing settled at all???

I use eye drops for my cats. I get them at the pharmacy. My vet has said this is ok. Once a year one of my cats will invariably get a scratch or something. They are just ordinary ear|eye drops with antibiotics. They are over the counter. If I put in one drop and his eye is better the next day I don't need to see the vet. If not then yes I do go to the vet. More often than not one drop solves the problem.

His breathing is ok now, the eye is still quite big looking but he has it open and it is clear. I am going to do another tea drop before his bed as I think it will flush any remaining badness. Bed times the best I think as he is more sleepy so easier to do it and then he can sleep and let it work without rubbing all the time. I wish I knew what happened to it.

Glad Paddy is feeling a little better and the tea seems to be helping him. You will probably never know what happened there, Lemonade, unfortunately.

I have apple head Siamese, one blue point, one chocolate and one that is more like a color point because he is red. The red version was not as successful at putting the color on the tips of the extremities.

So they are all a bit fat, not what you would expect from Siamese. Also Siamese get darker as you pet them. I tend to pet my cats very much and usually people don't brush them so much to avoid this but they love it. My cats are brushed often so they have all developed a very dark back. The grey point now has a grey back, lol. She is my youngest at 13, I read on a website that she is 68 in human years where as my eldest at 15 is 76 in human years. We don't know how long he has though, he has problems but hopefully we can keep him a while longer. We are looking into a university that does rebate work for tv on animals. Might save on cost.
