Completely late reply but welcome little Kenny He is completely adorable! As are budgie feet. It looks like his feet have a mind of their own As for talking, that really varies depending on the bird. Just keep repeating words to him a lot and there's a good chance he'll pick them up. Munchy used to talk very quietly when he first started, so you could only hear it when he was near your ear. Now he likes mumbling to his toys in almost incomprehensible ways at times, but he likes telling me his instructions. If I'm not going fast enough then 'come on' is a favourite. He will often tell me to 'up you come' and other such stuff which he never actually does when I try to get him to wow Bebe must be really an exception then. He came out himself and did not seems very afraid of his surrounding. In the matter of fact he started running over the floor and try to preen the little things on the carpet. But Bebe also has his wings clipped. That was probably done by the breeder. Or from the pet store, who knows... But still. My other bird was always trying to fly back to the cage, because he got scared! Bebe seems a very confident little chappie. Munchy didn't panic when I first took him out either. He climbed up the side of his cage, took off, and promptly fell into the box that I keep all his stuff in. He got stuck sliding around on a folded up newspaper as he tried to climb out.

I love the fact munchy tells you to hurry up haha Kenny was funny at weekend as normally his seed is refreshed as I head to work at 6:30am but on Sunday we didn't get up till 8:30 and was having a coffee and he kept tapping his seed bowl and then looking at me as if to say your 2 hrs late woman hahaha

Aww, sweet Munchy says 'Kiss Kenny' because that's my granddad's name. Sometimes he does it in my granddad's voice, which is quite scary because his voice suddenly drops lower It's certainly cute when they talk, but they're still adorable when they don't. Most of the time Munchy's chat is so mumbled because he's busy trying to woo a toy anyway, but sometimes he sits up in the window and speaks clearly (going through his repertoire, my nan says). It's funny how they fall into a routine Like children, really. If Munchy gets too impatient about being let out then he'll start to dig at his seed as if trying to burrow his way out of the cage! Kenny is an adorable little lad and I'm sure he will fill your days with a great deal of joy and laughter
