Very reassuring for you that he is enjoying his own space. He may miss the others once they aren't in the room with him though. I am sure he will love his little bungalow.

Hezz, i know he will miss the others and its worrying me this is partly why i have separated him from the others now, im breaking him in gently . Its a horrible decision but one i have no choice with this time, i had to help him off his swing this morning, think he got a bit stiff in the night, not even sure a swing is a good idea any more . Stace and Mizloco, its taking some working out, its a bit like setting up a little disabled home but i will show and tell as soon as i have .

Mum wants to audition me for a part in, The Ragged Child, don't know what she's on about but i think it has something to do with the fact that ive lost almost all of my big feathers this time. My FM has never been this bad, mum thinks its my age and she is giving me things that the others don't have much, like cod liver oil on special tonic seed, sunflower seeds, extra vitamins and egg food, being on my own she knows im getting it all. I know she loves me cos she keeps calling me her, Little Cockney Sparrow .

I'd like to think of my Goldie going on and on like that. Hopefully - provided with good examples here.

Ah, skysmum, I just want to pick him up and give him the biggest smooch. I've gone a bit teary here. I am sorry his FM is causing him problems. Maybe a little budgie massage is needed to loosen up his little legs.

I got a bit like that about it all yesterday Hezz . I think his early morning stiffness is where i am acclimatizing the others to go back in the aviary, im dropping the heating right down at night and i think the cold got into him a bit . Today his little bungalow is up and running and i have brought him into the house away from the others, i want to break him in gently, he can hear them but not see them. He is spending the nights in with us too as its warmer. He will spend the mornings with the others in his Bungalow until they go back in the aviary and then its just him and us. He seems quite happy and very chatty so fingers crossed he will be ok. Pics to come tomorrow of him in his Bungalow, adjustments being made constantly until i figure what works for him .

Can he go for visits to the aviary in his bungalow? Or will that unsettle him?

Can he go for visits to the aviary in his bungalow? Or will that unsettle him? I have been thinking about this stace and its quite doable but i worry that it could mix him up a bit. Im going to see how he goes with us, if i think he is happy i will leave it, if he seems depressed at all i will try the visits. Its all very suck it and see i think . I am planning on setting up a safe play area for him so that he can come out and totter about during the day, when im there of course.

Yeah, maybe the cold did get into him a bit. Buts sounds like you have given it all the thoughts you possibly can. I certainly can't think of anything else to make things easier for him. He is lucky someone is keeping an eye on him.

Well this is Jo's Bungalow, its been fiddled and faffed with . He didn't like the first and second attempt, too disabled for his liking so ive put it more to what his is used to, im still not sure he approves but ive no doubt we will work it out. He loves all the plastic tat so it had to go with him, don't want to make too many changes all at once .

Wow, little man! There is enough there to keep you amused. The little plastic mirror seems to have something good to say.
