Can he speak a few words? Yes BB, they all say pretty boy, Jo's dad was a talker and the old ones learnt from him and they pass it on to the newbies, even Piper says it now . Its when it goes on, as in, pretty boy, boy, boy, boy, boy that gets amusing . Jo and only Jo also says, what you doin and budgie boy but its random and when he feels like it. That's awesome. Talking always makes them even more adorable

It's from a duet by Peter Sellers and Sophia Loren. I am guessing they are singers, and not some experts on "How to teach you budgies talking" Sophia Loren is a famous Italian movie star from the 50s and 60s, and Peter Sellers was a famous English actor and comedian.

did you teach Boo to say that or is it something you say anyway? I always think I should think of something to teach B, but forget and then I just say the same things over and over to him... He is probably even bored now with his own speech, lol

Jo Jo has been given it all on a plate since his retirement...literally! Hope he doesn't get too annoyed with his new female resident

It's a long winter for the buds without those seeding grasses. To use your phrase, Jo Jo is adorabubble.

He is probably even bored now with his own speech, lol I said it to him once or twice, a while back. It was a phrase that just popped into my head at the time. Must have related to something he was doing. Then the next day he started saying it. If he likes a phrase, he'll pick it up really quickly. If he's on my finger and I'm talking to him, and he likes what I'm saying or singing, he'll give my mouth or nose a little beak-butt when I stop to tell me he wants me to keep on talking.
