So this would be the oldest chick? I can't see any yellow, but will take your word for it. Yes Hezz that's the oldest one.
Probably better not taking my word for it........I never had my specks on......lol......

Looks like this is made for human It is. Some of the bacteria in it comes from soil, which a lot of probiotics do not contain. I started my birds on it after they had a dose of antibiotics, and after a few weeks went to sprinkling on their food a couple times a week, unless they are molting in which case they get it most days until the molt is over. Been using it for over a year that way...

Just a wee update. Still not heard back from Edinburgh University Vet. I phoned last Friday as they said the results of the tissue sample they sent away would take between 7-10 days only to be told that it could take up to 3 weeks. Her chick is coming on great and I'll get some pictures of it tomorrow .

Definitely BB, hatched on the 12th as I posted the day it hatched earlier in the thread.
Maybe to do with your wee one being hand reared and this one is getting reared with another 3?......
Not long started keeping them so you'll have a better idea than me.......
