Hi I currently have a cage with my 2 budgies in. I am thinking of buying a slightly wider one and its definately taller. I am looking at the hagen s02 . It is taller than my current one but I am seeing pros and cons of taller types. Once their wing flight feathers are back I intend going back to letting them out daily for their fly time. So is the larger (taller) one better than the slightly smaller one I currently have? Seems like a nice design which will fit nicely in the space I have available!

I did get one but it was too big for the space I had. I have a Savic Tallinn bailey is out a lot so it's fine and I only have him. OP def has Hagan

Im going to pick it up tomorrow, its only £20 so if its not ideal its not much lost. Its bigger than what they currently have so better in a way if its not perfect!?

Bigger is always better. And regardless of what people may say, if you position the toys, food, perches, chewing things etc all around the cage on different levels the birds will use all of the cage.

I Have the medium Hagen Vision cage and it is big enough for one maybe two budgies. The one you have chosen is rather like two small cages stacked on top of each other. £20 is a very good price and with clever arranging as suggested by Hezz your buds will use most of the space. I hope you and your buds like it.

Yeah I thought going bigger, regardless which way would be better! They chase each other around the bars a lot so we will see! Will post a pic once I have sorted it!

Is that the seal of approval for the new cage?
