It may just happen if Bezukhov was under stress whilst at the vets. Have you noticed if Bezukhov becomes stressed he has an episode. I'm not suggesting that you put him under any sort of stress. I was thinking maybe the journey to the vet would do the dirty deed. Stress was a factor in my episodes, not the only component.

I'm not aware of it being a factor with Bezukhov. I have been watching him like a hawk recently though as I thought if an episode occurred I would have a better idea of what went on just before it. As you say, it might give some insight.

No, Hezz. At least not whilst I have been in the room. I can hear him in the kitchen also, assuming he does the accompanying screech.

That can only be a good thing. All the best, you two. Hopefully you won't have any more to deal with.

Update. After a week without any 'episodes', Bezukhov then had 3 more over 2 days. I took him to the vet today where he was given a multivitamin & calcium injection. They also took a blood sample for analysis - results due Tuesday.
The vet visit was quite an ordeal. I had arranged for an early morning appt so I could get him in the travel cage the night before. The first hurdle was catching Bezukhov because he's fast. Then he refused to accept being in the travel cage & proceeded to look for ways out, even tunnelling. Meanwhile, Cagney was shouting to the point it was making my ears bleed. Phineas was prowling on top of the travel cage & not wanting Cagney to get close to Bezukhov. It's all been quite stressful. Who said that having pets was relaxing?! A friend of mine said I should have got a tortoise instead....
Anyway, we are back to normal - Bezukhov is back home with Cagney. He hasn't had an episode since Thursday. Fingers crossed he doesn't have any more...
BTW, one of his episodes happened when he was sleeping, head under wing. That suggests it's not stress related. Plus, there was no episode brought on during the vet ordeal either.

That is not good, Sweetpea. I do hope you get some answers from the tests they are running for you. Did they give you any ideas about what they think it might be? I am happy to hear he got a multivit. injection ...... maybe they are thinking petit mal seizures as well. Sorry for you all; sounds like everyone took it rather badly.
