Just a little note to say, thank you to Marianne Marlowe for giving Blithe the ideal home sought for in the title of this thread and giving him a home where budgies literally want for nothing having, love, freedom and meticulous attention to their needs <3
Marianne, thank you guys so much for taking Blithe.
He was so excited, he FREAKED out when he thought I was taking him away again!!! I was just trying to say goodbye!!! Hahahaaa <3 He had had such a miserable and rejected week, he likely feels he is in budgie heaven! HE IS!!!!!
God bless you and your wonderful family of eleven.
<3 <3 <3 thank you, thank you, <3 <3 <3

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I just read all the posts! Didn't want to speak too soon until Blithe had been taken in for sure! Feeling so lucky that Blithe had so much love coming his way over what was a hard time for him.
Now, to sort out Jet's leg and get him a kindly older woman! Thanks Marianne Marlow for your advice on that too!
<3 Budgies for ever! <3

He's doing good.. He's really healthy so we decided to integrate him (after weighing him and giving ivermectin) asap seeing as he was so lonely. First off he wasn't sure how to make friends and thought the way to go was to jump on a budgie! But he's chilled out a bit now as he's realised that didn't work and just sent them scattering! Here are some pics...
