insert code here Hi all here is a close up picture of our new baby budgie Zippy we think he is a boy, he is about 9 weeks old. Can anyone tell me whether he is a boy or a girl please or is it too early to tell? Thank you.

How do you tell? when does the colour actually come through on the cere? The white around the nostrils says it's a hen.

I think baby budgie Zippy is a girl, as well, for what it is worth. I think Zippy is a great name for a budgie, girl or boy.

Thank you everyone my daughter chose the name because she loves cheeky Zippy from the old television series Rainbow!

Zippy is a great name. It's full of fun and mischief. It fits perfectly.
