Thank you Jellybean. It has already. I have some photos to put up when I get back on the PC. I had to chase Whiskers out of the cage again. He would not get on my finger, a perch or my arm. He eventually began climbing the outside of the cage, but because of the large plastic frame at the top he was a bit stuck so I offered my finger at which he found out that he could fly. Up to where Joey was on the gym top perch. I will leave off here and return with the pictures, they tell a better story than I ever could. Before I go, they are both back in the cage of their own free will. Joey was the first and Whiskers followed by a round about route. He saw where Joey went and tried to follow as I had hoped, alas he has a bit to learn about flying and alnded on a prototype gym that I made for Joey but is not in use. It is near me though and Whiskers used my head as a stepping stone to the cage. I worried about nothing.
Thank you all. Since they have been back in the cage it's back to Whiskers trying to get close to Joey and Joey lunging with open beak. They are not fighting just a tit for tat thing. Whiskers is very impetuous and knocks seven bells out of anything near. He really goes for it as well. Here is a clip I caught on the CCTV camera. The lighting is poor and there is no audio. I hope you find it amuzing.
Such lovely pictures! Surprised at just how much bigger Joey is.
Not me, I knew he was much smaller, by the way he acted

i am so pleased for you and them!! love the first one weith Joey looking as if to say, um, yes, what do you want and then the one up from the bottom with them looking like they are whispering!
they have both adapted well given the short time Whiskers has been with you and how long Joey has
does make me think more and more about Bailey needing a friend, but not to be
When you are ready. Joey didn't need a friend as I was at home most of the time. I don't think Whiskers did either, but the occasion arose where Geoff needed someone to look after Whiskers and that someone was me.
So good to see them together! I do think a lot about Brodie having a friend too ffiscool. If I ever get permanently settled in my flat with stable health, it's certainly something I'd really consider but not for the moment.
