Okay, for those who dont know I got 4 more budgies last Tuesday. One wich i a bit overweight, and none of them can fly anything good, or, rather, fly they know how to do but landing is a tottally diffrent mater. They mostlly land on the ground and then climbe up to the top of the cage, and they only fly if I open up the door and scare them or get too close. and whenever they're in the air they fly into the wals, windows, cages, Everything! multiply times before they stop. I want them to get in to the bigger Area with less places to indjure them and a lot better places to land. But to do this they would have to be togheter with my other 2 birds. Right now I feel like they're gonna fly into the wall and die on the spot anytime! Is it wise for me to get them into the room better built for them to learn how to land/fly properlly? None of them are sick, one of them had a bit poo around his vent (Because of the stress of moving I guess as she was eating and drinking normally, and just a it lose in the stomach, a she was gone this morning I suspect that it was just a bit of stress there and another a foot ingury (nothing thats contagius there...)

I wouldn't! I remember you mentioning that you didn't get them from the best place (not exactly sure how you put it, but not totally happy) so for the sake of a few weeks don't subject your others to the possibility of disease. They can still show up some underlying problem a couple of weeks after a move; not everything show immediately.

Yes, I got them ffrom a woman who had no clue how to care for budgies She pretty much feed them seeds water and some extra vitamins in the water while them where sheding (dont know the real term in english) The biggest problem he had was that she never let them out of the cage, so they just sat there all day..:C

I have to agree with Hezz....I would keep the away from the others until the 4 weeks are up as it would be awful if something did happen and your other healthy budgies became ill due to this...better be safe than sorry

Even more reason NOT to break quarantine!!! Make absolutely sure that they are clean and free of everything before allowing them anywhere near your others. We really need to know whereabouts on the planet you are to be able to help with preventive treatments ...... so ..... where are you? EDIT: Moogie and I posted at the same time. I totally agree with what she has said.
