Hello everyone!
I have a question.
The spider season starts soon, and I was worried about Natu. I leave windows open practically all day and night. But the spiders that we have here in the UK, do they kill or harm budgies?
Thanks for your answers!

According to the naturalist websites, the answers is there are no native spiders in the UK that would harm a budgie. It is also doubtful that a tarantula would be bothered to eat our budgies. Over to Australia, is there any in your part of the world that are a danger to your pet birds?

Mosquitoes in Holland (the Netherlands) are dangerous for budgies.

As far as I know mosquitoes are setting up colonies in urban areas of the UK as the weather is becoming more friendly to them. I wouldn't have thought they could survive very well in Scotland. I couldn't survive up there, brrr! Only hardy people live there, is that right Burdguhl and yourself. Are you from the Netherlands Missygirl?

Actually in the UK I reckon a budgie would try and eat a spider rather than the other way round!

No, I moved to Scotland 2 and a half years ago I used to live in the Netherlands for 27 years.
