Hi guys, I haven't posted in a long time, but would just like to know something. And dat is, how do you tell the difference between a male and female lutino budgie. There ceres are almost similar and is very hard to spot.

There is no difference in cere color of the Ino hens, it's just like any other hen from normal mutations.
The males Inos have purple cere color, whereas normal mutations have blue cere color.

So the hens can still have a pale ring round the nares BB? Unless it is my eyes playing tricks on me

Also notice the head size, the cock in all mutations is broader than the hen. This doesn't help of course, unless you have one you are positive of the sex to compare it with.
