Rest in Peace, sweet little Raspy. Heaven is a more beautiful place now that she is with the angels. Sweetpea, I am so sorry for your loss. Your stories about Raspy, Atilla, Cagney and Bezukhov always made me laugh. I will miss Raspy. I hope you will soon be able to remember the happy times and smile. Thank you budgiefriend. We are all missing Raspy here. She was taken too soon but she packed a lot into her 3 years.

I'm going through the same thing. I had a flock of four, two males and two females, and lost one of my females, Ruby, just over a month ago. I was concerned about her mate, Cookie. He was a little quiet for the first week, but he has a great bond with my other male budgie, so he is fine now. I have a video recording of my birds and played it to them a couple of days ago. When they heard Ruby they went nuts and tried to jump on my camcorder! They remember her I'm sorry for your loss. RIP Bella x I am glad your flock of 3 are coping without Ruby. It's very sweet that they remembered her from the recording. Your flock sounds similar to mine. My 2 boys are good mates too. They have been quiet, but Atilla has had an infection & now it looks like they are moving into the moulting blues...

Sorry to hear of your loss - Raspy sounds like a real character! Yes, she was definitely a character. A strong, feisty one.
