Had the girls out for the day so thought I would video them having a dust bath. If you listen you can hear them purring with pleasure. Oh and you can also hear the buds in the background too.

I had to download it first. Anyway it played. They looked to be enjoying themselves, and yes I could hear the bds in the background. It looks beautiful.

I could but it took me a while to realise there were 3 and not just 2 They do have a habit of sitting under each other when they dust bath for some unknown reason. They flick dirt all over each other and I often think it must go in their eyes but they don't seem to mind. If my daughter could be bothered to go upstairs to get her phone charger she will send me some pictures she took and you can see them all.

It wouldn't play at all in Firefox. I got redirected to the site but it wouldn't load. Apparently Photobucket are playing about with their protocols and are leaning towards Microsoft & Google. I was having problems loading photos into Opera and this is how I found out.

Little beauties Ok maybe not so little! They are rather large Sue. That's what saved Fern from being taken by the fox. He couldn't lift her over the fence. You will have Moogie going into overdrive with them fluffy bums. The do look beautiful with the glossy coat. Willow, the black and white one, shines green and purple in the sun.

Thank you. The grey ones are Blue French Marans and the black and white one is a wyandotte.

When people keep chickens do they pick a certain breed for a reason, or just because they like the look of that type of chicken.

Our first ones were from a battery farm so we just had 2 that needed a home. Then we lost one so we had to get at least one more as they can't live alone so we went to a farm where they breed all different types and chose 2 we liked the look of, one was Willow, the Wynadotte, the other was a brown hen called we Poppy who died suddenly shortly after our second ex battery died. So we were left with willow and had to rush out and get yet another 2. The only place we could find some was a garden centre and all they had was the Blue French Marrens. So, in short we didn't but some people do.
