Hello and welcome Josh. I couldn't help but notice you bought the budgies for your children as pets. Then later in you introduction they became your budgies. I am not in the least bit surprised. Welcome to the world of these lovely creatures.

Lovely to have you with us, Josh. Do the children realize what their father has done to them??? Stolen their pets - what a meany you are. But seriously, how old are they, the children, and do they (get to) spend any time with the birds?

Lovely to have you with us, Josh. Do the children realize what their father has done to them??? Stolen their pets - what a meany you are. But seriously, how old are they, the children, and do they (get to) spend any time with the birds? My son Archie is five, and my daughter Isla has just turned 3. Theyre really friendly with them we help keep a check on things together such as food and water, then my partner I can hopefully teach them a vocab. The budgies are named rio and elsa. We thought they were two cocks (even though elsa is a female name) but im sure elsa is a hen as shes got white circles around the nostrils on the cere. As soon as I work out how to upload pictures ill let you guys be the judges on their sex ☺
