They are beautiful but finding them in the UK is not going to be easy.

I had never even heard of them until I saw your post starlingqueen, lovely birds though, do you know of anyone who breeds them?

They are also known a Turquoise parakeets and, as steve05412 pointed out, splendids. There are a few breeders from my research but I haven't made contact yet and more importantly, haven't mentioned it to my hubby.

Oh now I have to add this to the list of birds I would like later. They are gorgeous.
What makes birds compatible? Do they have about the same habits as buds so there isn't too much worry about aggression or size causing issue?

Do you have any bird sales near you maybe worth a visit. Not been to one myself so no idea of the quality they are definitely about though Good luck with the search for them will be interested to know what you find

I "mentioned" them to my hubby and he said, "have you ordered them?" I said no they can't be delivered all the way from Norfolk, and he said "oh no, I haven't got to go all the way to Norfolk again for a bl**dy bird have I, why can't these breeders live closer?" He went to Norfolk to get my Conure, took him all day. Well, what actually happened is he got up after his night shift and my daughter told him he'd be better off back in bed. Then after a short discussion in which he said do they need feeding cos my pockets are getting empty and I said I would get rid of something so it wouldn't cost too much. I then told my 2 children, they have to move out so we can afford more birds. They refused, can you believe that?
