I had a frog visit my garden a few weeks back, had me shocked when he jumped and I hadn't spotted him. We have 2 lakes not far from our house, he must've come from there to check out my leaking water butt. I wish he'd come back and eat the slugs that have decimated my poppy, wildflower bed and violas

Do you having frogs living in the toilet, Hezz? When I worked for a spell in Sydney, there was one loo which had a resident frog - just under the rim!

These are rather big froggies, but love their white trim, they always look like they are smiling; they are called white-lipped green tree frogs ......

That is a lot of frogs in the bog, Hezz! I would have been very nervous about making a visit. The sights those frogs must have seen...

Frogs are gorgeous animals. Lovely to watch especially when they are feeding. Our common European frog comes in a real variety of shades and patterns. As a child I spent many a quiet hour watching them and could identify individuals in our garden pond from their skin pattern. Tree frogs? I thought they were usually quite a bit smaller and tropical. I know some of them have poisonous mucus over their skin. Toads... a real rarity. Not seen one for years

These guys can get up to 10-15cms in length, and are totally harmless, very cute. We used to have one living in our kitchen; he would hide behind my very flash row of Portmeirion cannisters, there was always one out of line. I didn't know he hid there until I went to push the out of line one back in and met with resistance and a small squeak!! When we moved house, my boys were still quite young, and insisted Mr Froggie came with us. He then set up house in our letterbox.
